Why don't we use wood from "China", or other Asian countries?
When Christopherson Wood Floors installs flooring we only use what we consider to be quality materials.  The mills and vendors we buy from supply certified sustainably grown products that are milled with precision.  This includes how they kiln dry the flooring and how long the lengths may be.  Most of our flooring is 1' to 7' random lengths.  Flooring that goes out and comes back from other Asian countries can be 9"-48"...making the floor's overall appearance less beautiful AND without an installer who has an eye for craftsmanship and design...leaving you with floor joints that are not staggered well...as in the photo above.  At Christopherson Wood Floors, our goal is to leave behind a floor that we are proud of...and that you should be proud to show off.
