Brazilian Cherry is perhaps the most popular South American Hardwood. About 150% harder than Oak (which is our traditional American "Hardwood") and very reasonable in price.
Brazilian Cherry seen here in 3" Clear Quartersawn, finished with Swedish Finish against Cherry cabinets. Also check out more pictures of Brazilian cherry on our "Portfolio" page.
Brazilian Teak is a very durable yet reasonably priced exotic hardwood. Over 300% harder than Oak but usually less than twice the cost.
